Caveau de Huchette

Color photograph of a jazz club with an orange-colored stone facade cache

The Caveau de Huchette is one of the best known jazz clubs in Paris. It is located on the tiny, pedestrian Huchette street in the Latin Quarter. Caveau means "cellar," approximately.

The small facade of the club gives little indication of its fame, but some of the best jazz musicians appear at this club, and if you examine the show cards listing the artists appearing, you may be pleasantly surprised.
