Musée d’Orsay Interior

Color photograph of the Orsay Museum interior
text description

This is part of the interior of the Orsay Museum, on the ground floor. You can see that it still looks a bit like the railway station it once was, but overall, the transformation of the building into a museum has been very successful. You can see that there are multiple floors around the perimeter of the building (note the figures behind the frosted glass behind the clock), and the ground floor also has exhibition rooms in this large central portion of the building. It’s a nice place to visit.
