Walkway Inside Centre Georges Pompidou

The western facade of the Centre National d’Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris includes a series of escalators and enclosed walkways. This photograph shows part of one portion of a walkway. Although the windows seem to be perpetually dirty, you can still see part of the skyline of Paris through them. You’re looking south southwest in this photograph, which was taken around noon.
