Seine River on a Dreary Day

Color photograph of the Seine River on a sunny winter day

Many days in Paris are dreary and overcast. In the interest of equal time, I thought I’d provide a photograph of the Seine River as it appears on such a day, as seen from the Pont Neuf. Actually, it doesn’t really look that bad, as you can see, but it is obviously not as pretty as when the sun is shining and the sky is clear. And I have a picture of the same sight when the sun is out, if that interests you, although the sun doesn’t get much above the horizon in winter.
