Louvre Museum at Night

Description: The ornate architecture of a huge palace dominates this nighttime photograph. Three portions of the palace, set at right angles to each other, are visible, and span the image. All are brilliantly lit with orangish light and contrast sharply with a blue-black sky, giving them a very cozy-looking, almost golden appearance. The central portion of the palace visible in the image extends towards the background and then meets other portions extending off to the right and left; within this area, we see a modern, transparent glass pyramid, also brilliantly lit from within. A very thin line of illuminated greenery or bushes is visible and illuminated in the foreground.
