Image Licensing

All of the photos visible in the Photo Gallery, Street Scenes, Cool Wallpaper, Art Gallery, and Portfolio sections of my Web site are my own and are protected by copyright. If you'd like to use any of my images for any purpose other than just viewing them on my site with your browser, you'll generally need my permission. You'll find, however, that I'm much easier to deal with than the typical large corporation that depends on aggressive copyright enforcement to keep its pockets full of your money (I won't name names, but most of the entertainment and media multinationals would be on the list).

Anyway, I have several policies for authorizing reuse of my images, depending on what kind of use you have in mind. Please consult the appropriate policy for your intended use, as follows:

For personal use, I generally license for free and implicitly; click here if you believe your intended use falls into this category.

If you are a student and you wish to reuse an image for a school project or assignment, click here for information on my licensing policy (it's almost always free, but check the details). Yearbook use does not count as school or student use (it's commercial use).

For all other licensing issues (editorial use, commercial use, and anything else), click here for details. You must have an e-mail address that does not reject my incoming e-mail messages in order to license my images.
