This video shows a large part of the Champs-Élysées, one of the most famous avenues in the world. It also shows a bit of the Arc de Triomphe, a large commemorative arch that stands at the top end of the avenue.
In addition to a stroll up and down the broad sidewalks of the avenue, the video features a quick visit underneath the Arc, plus some side visits into a number of the shopping galleries on the north side of the avenue. Strolling up and down this avenue is quite a pleasure in real life, and I hope this video captures a little bit of the fun. I show the shopping galleries because a lot of visitors don't know they are there.
You can read and see more on the Champs in my Photo Gallery. I also have another video showing the lower half of the avenue (which is mostly gardens and parks), if you are interested.
All of this video was shot hand-held. People don't get as paranoid if you look like a tourist.
