Cool Wallpaper

This section of my site offers interesting wallpaper images for your PC. Most of the images are of Paris, since lots of people seem to visit my site just to look at pictures of the city in my Photo Gallery. I also provide some other miscellaneous images for your enjoyment. I sincerely think you'll find that these wallpaper images of Paris are among the best available anywhere on the Web, at any price.

You are welcome to use the images provided in this section as desktop wallpaper on your office, home, or portable PC. In doing so, you agree to use the images for no other purpose (you can’t sell them or redistribute them, for example) without asking me first. If others ask for a copy of wallpaper you have downloaded from this section, please direct them instead to my site so that they can download it for themselves (this allows me to get some idea of which photos and screen sizes are most popular). To download an image as wallpaper using a Microsoft or Netscape browser on a PC, proceed as follows:

1. Select the image that pleases you from the thumbnails below, and click directly on the image itself in order to load a version of the image that is the correct size for your screen. (If I don't have the exact size required for your screen, you'll get 1024x768 by default.)
2. A larger version of the image you‘ve selected will appear by itself in your browser window. When the image has completely downloaded into the window, click your mouse on the image using the right mouse button, then select Set as wallpaper from the menu that appears. The browser will automagically install the image as your desktop wallpaper.
3. Once you’ve set the image as your wallpaper, use the back button on your browser to return to this page.

I hope you enjoy these wallpaper images. I hold the copyright to most of these images, unless otherwise indicated (some are derived from public domain sources or other open-licensed sources); if for some reason you’d like to use any of them as something other than wallpaper on your PC, please send me a message to ask permission.

Another note: All of the wallpaper images currently assume a 4:3 physical aspect ratio for your monitor (that is, they assume that your screen is exactly 1/3 wider than it is tall, which is usually the case). I'm still pondering how to accommodate other aspect ratios.
