Pont Alexandre IIIPont Alexandre III (Alexander III Bridge) We see, extending from the lower right foreground to the upper left background, a graceful, sweeping metallic arch bridge crossing a blue-green river. The arch is painted light gray with gold trim. A dark brown handrailing and matching, ornately-designed lampposts run along each side of the bridge at street level. At the far end we can see two granite pillars with winged statues atop them; the latter are covered with pure gold. The near end of the bridge is sunlit; the far end is in slight shadow from a cloud.
