Sacre-Coeur Basilica Close-Up

Sacré-Cœur Basilica Close-Up

Description: In the foreground is a kind of white marble balcony with arched alcoves beneath it, and just beyond that, higher on the hill, can be seen a large structure of white marble vaguely recalling a kind of modest cross between an Eastern Orthodox church like St. Basil's and the Taj Mahal. There is one central dome flanked by two smaller domes. The basilica is lit in bright sunlight from the left and just behind the structure, and the sky beyond is cloudless and light blue. Quite a few people are walking around the area.
