Passage du Caire

This is the passage du Caire, a tiny arcade in the heart of the garment district in Paris that is lined with small garment manufacturers, wholesale outlets, and the like. It isn’t very fancy to look at because it caters to retailers and other businesses, but it handles a lot of traffic.

This arcade is near the place du Caire, a spot once referred to derisively as the Court of Miracles, and made famous by Victor Hugo in his novel, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
