Jardins des Champs-ÉlyséesChampsCarreElysee On either side of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées (north and south) below the Rond-Point roundabout, there are gardens that surprisingly few people visit. Tourists stick closely to the beaten path and do not stray more than a few meters beyond, so even though the avenue is awash in pedestrian tourists, the adjoining gardens tend to be very quiet, frequented mainly by occasional locals. The gardens are divided into individual areas with their own names. The one pitured here is the Carré de l'Élyséce. These gardens are home to several theaters, restaurants, and other venues, including the Marigny and Rond-Point theaters, the Grand and Petit palaces, the Laurent and Ledoyen restaurants, and more.
