The “I Love You” Wall

     LoveWall

This wall in Montmartre is called the Mur des je t’aime, the “wall of love.” On it, the words “I love you” are written in 250 languages. It was created by artists Frédéric Bron and Claire Kito.

The red spots on the enameled tile wall represent pieces of a broken heart, and could be reassembled to form a complete heart.

Photographed on June 6, 2024.
