Colonnade at the Parc Monceau

       MonceauColonnade

One of the many quirky features of the Parc Monceau is this imitation Roman colonnade surrounding a pond, intended to resemble a Roman naumachia. It is “only” three hundred years old, rather than two thousand.

Photographed on September 10, 2026.
