Passage Jouffroy (Bis)

       PassageJouffroyBis

This is part of the Passage Jouffroy; about midway through the gallery.

You can see one exit from the Musée Grévin in the background, with the well-known Hôtel Chopin on the left. The hotel is a national monument and has been cntinuously open for close to 200 years (since 1846). It is named after the composer Chopin, who used to visit a piano store then in the gallery, and is rumored to have hooked up with George Sand (his lover) at this hotel.

Photographed on July 18, 2026.
