Rue Pavée in the Marais

This small street in the Marais used to be open to vehicles, but the City of Paris, in an ongoing effort to gradually exclude cars from the city, converted this street to fully pedestrian use a few years ago. It's much nicer and quieter this way.

There are many streets in Paris that have undergone such a conversion. This one is adjacent to the Rue des Rosiers.
