Lamppost on Alexander III Bridge

This is a lamppost on the Alexander III bridge (pont Alexandre III). I think it is wrought iron. The glass is blown by hand. This is a typical lamppost; there are fancier ones at either end of the bridge. The lamps inside are incandescent.

In the background on the left, the building with a tiny flag flying is the Assemblée Nationale. In the background on the right, the most obvious building is the Foreign Ministry on the quai d’Orsay.
