Pont Neuf at NightPont Neuf In this evening photograph, taken from the northwest, we see a brilliantly lit, multiple-arch stone bridge spanning a seemingly placid river with a matte surface. The bridge is lit in a pinkish-orange hue. The sky is quite black and starless. Buildings in the background on the right behind the bridge are dimly lit by reflected orange light. Streetlights on the bridge form pinpoints of brilliant light. On the lower left, long red streaks mark the paths of automobiles moving on a well-lit expressway running along the riverfront. A very bright bluish light is just visible on the extreme right of the image. Technical details: Nikon FG + AF Nikkor 24-120/3.5-5.6D, 8 seconds at f/8, tripod, Fujichrome Provia 100F color reversal film (ISO 100), cropped and color-adjusted in Photoshop
