This is a view of the place Georges Pompidou, a plaza in front of the Centre National d’Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou.

This photo was taken from about seven stories up, on one of the observation galleries of the museum itself. You're looking southwest at about noon.

If you look closely, you can see various types of street performers and a few odd characters standing around the plaza, along with their audiences (of highly variable size!).
